April 17, 2017 found my feet strolling through the Shelton Farmer's Market. It's only one block long, but I enjoyed visiting with many of the vendors there. I was told that the market is in it's 20th year and that all the vendors either grow or make their products themselves. I had driven past the market on my way to the post office and/or library before, but only gave it a passing glance. I can tell you that it is worth getting out of your car and leisurely strolling both sides of the street.
The market itself is nothing fancy, but I met several interesting people that I hope to encounter again and get to know better. I will attempt to give a synopsis of some of the booths I paused at and the people behind them.
